Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Online maps and mapping services
Measures have been taken to make the maps as accessible as possible, including the provision of keyboard editing functionality and consideration of colour contrast. The text data is available in an accessible format on the review page. You can also export your data to review or edit in GIS software of your choice.
User-uploaded PDFs
We display scanned PDFs of historical planning documents as part of our mapping functionality, for reference and comparison with the interactive map. These must remain authentic and are not modified, because they may be legally binding records. Making those scans fully accessible (for example by altering their appearance) could affect their authenticity.
